The Sonobi team brought creativity, energy, and personality to the 2026 AdventHealth Corporate 5K, earning them the win in this year’s T-Shirt Design Contest. With six years participating in the event, Sonobi has built a culture centered around connection, camaraderie, and showing up together as a team both inside and outside the workplace.
As a smaller company, Sonobi shared that participation comes naturally because of the close relationships their employees have built over the years. Their winning shirt design leaned into the growing influence of AI in everyday life, creating something current, relatable, and memorable. Q: What are some incentives or strategies your team uses to encourage participation in the Corporate 5K?
A: “Sonobi is a smaller organization, closer to something that would feel family-owned. Given the nature of that fact, we have developed a close bond through working relationships, friendships, and family. It’s easy to encourage participation when everyone shares in such a close culture.”
Q: How do you use the Corporate 5K for strategic business purposes?
A: “We really don’t. The opportunity to come together as an organization and participate is our strategic purpose, for ourselves more than outside business opportunities.”
Q: Please share some of your company’s workplace wellness initiatives and the benefits you’ve seen from implementing a workplace wellness program.
A: “Wednesday yoga from one of our very own certified instructors. Gym reimbursement. Activity challenges.”
Q: Is there anything you’d like to share about your company’s experience at the Corporate 5K?
A: “On the t-shirt side, we wanted to do something that felt current and relatable without overcomplicating it. With how much AI is part of everyone’s day-to-day right now, the idea came pretty quickly.”
Q: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a first-time Corporate 5K team?
A: “Beyond the shirt, just show up with energy; the event is as much about team presence and having fun together as it is about the race itself.”
