FAQs

Who qualifies as a full-time Florida resident?

To be eligible for the Fastest Floridians Prize Purse, runners must reside in Florida. They must have had residency for at least one year (365 days) before the current OUC Orlando Half Marathon.

One must have a residence, not just an address where mail and/or official documents are sent. A driver’s license, voter registration card, vehicle registration, and/or proof of employment will be required for verification.

College or graduate students attending school in Florida but with permanent residences elsewhere do not meet these residency requirements. Exception to this rule are: Military personnel that are stationed in Florida but are deployed elsewhere.

Who qualifies for the hotel stay?

Athletes meeting the high-performance standard are eligible for a comp entry and two-night stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Orlando.
