About this Race
Join Track Shack's 16th Annual Celebration of Running 5k as this race kicks off the 31st Track Shack Grand Prix Series. This is just the first of 7 premier Orlando road races.
Location & Parking
Loch Haven Park - 777 East Princeton Street, Orlando, FL 32803
Located ½ mile east of I-4 (exit 85) on Princeton St. in downtown Orlando. Parking will be available at the Orlando Science Center parking garage located on Princeton St. and the Florida Hospital garage at the intersection of Alden Road and Princeton Street.

Tech T-Shirts
All 5k registrants receive a gender specific moisture wicking technical t-shirt that is perfect for summer races. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed for day of race registration.
Runners and walkers will enjoy this 3.1-mile route that starts and finishes at the historical Orlando Science Center. Visit Realtor, Sandy Fox, on race day for a chance to win an Ipod!

Awards
Top three male and female, top male and female master, top male and female grand master, top male and female senior grand
master and the top three finishers in each age division will receive awards.

Race Walkers
This is a judged racewalking competition. The top 3 male and female racewalkers will receive awards. Those who wish to compete in the racewalking division need to register at the Central Florida Racewalkers table on race day. Normal registration procedures and fees apply.
ChampionChip Scored
This race will be scored using the ChampionChip for accurate "real time" scoring. Failure to bring personal (yellow) chip to event will result in a $5.00 usage fee.

Florida Children's Hospital Way Cool Kids' Run
Free to all children. Distances will range from 100 yards to 1 mile and children are placed in age appropriate groups. Kids’ run registration is on race day at race site. The first 150 registered participants will receive a T-shirt. All children receive a finishers ribbon!
Beneficiary
For more than 50 years, the Orlando Science Center has been bringing science to life in Central Florida. Through hands-on participant experience, it fosters curiosity, discovery, innovation and intellectual achievement. A visit to the Orlando Science Center creates lifetime memories while building an appreciation of science and technology in our everyday lives.
Restrictions
For safety reasons, baby joggers/strollers,
earphones, in-line skates, skateboards, and dogs will not be allowed in the race.
