Registration for the 2024 ME STRONG United in Strength 5k is open!

We are thrilled to announce the 2024 ME STRONG 5K “United in Strength” will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024, thanks to Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS), in partnership with the Rotary Clubs of West Volusia County. In the tradition of the ME STRONG 5K, 100% of sponsorship funds raised from the 5K will be designated for financial support to local individuals navigating life with a cancer diagnosis. 2024 United in Strength 5k

Honor or remember someone you love at the ME STRONG 5K Tribute Zone. Yard signs will be part of the meaningful Tribute Zone on the 5k race route. Signs will feature a name or name and photo of someone you’d like to pay tribute to. The cost of a Tribute Zone yard sign is $50. All proceeds from the ME STRONG 5K Tribute Zone will immediately help cancer patients. For more information on how to honor your loved one with a meaningful sign, please click the link below.

The story

The Fabulous Five

January 28, 2012 was the dawn of the inaugural ME STRONG 5K. Nearly 1,000 community members flooded the streets of beautiful Historic DeLand, Florida. The ME STRONG 5k originated with the dream of bringing hope and happiness during a time that is often considered dark and frightening.

Since that wonderful day, ME STRONG has grown into a 501c3 charity with a mission to support friends, families, and community members battling cancer. Each year, the annual 5k raises money to support our community members and their families in the fight against cancer.
