We’re at the start of the 38th Annual Track Shack Running Series, who can believe that?  The series was started in 1978 by the original owners of Track Shack to establish the store as the running headquarters, promote the sport and help develop local athletes.

Here’s a little Track Shack trivia:  Store Associate Donnie Cook was the first male champion of the Track Shack Grand Prix Series as it was known back then.  See Series Champions.

Fast forward to the 2015-2016 Track Shack Running Series.  Our six-race schedule has been released, and it’s still a great way to commit to be fit and enjoy phenomenal perks.  

So what does it mean to be Track Shack Fanatic?  A Fanatic is someone who registers for all six Track Shack Running Series races at one time. Fanatics are runners, walkers and joggers who plan on participating in each Track Shack Running Series race.
